Detailed Precautions for the HIFU Procedure
MRI Examination
The doctor will need to take your medical history, assess suitability, and checking MRI/ultrasound imaging results to accurately assess the lesion. Our HIFU Centre will help you contact the nearest partner hospital where you can have an MRI at a discounted rate.
Personalized Treatment Plans
The doctor will review your medical history, assess your condition, and evaluate whether HIFU treatment is suitable for you. Necessary imaging tests will be recommended to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Simulation Phase
During the simulation phase, advanced imaging techniques will be used to precisely locate the treatment area, ensuring accuracy and safety. This step helps optimize treatment effectiveness and assists the doctor in formulating your final treatment plan.
Pre-Procedure Guidelines
Our doctors will inform you about the medications you need to take before the procedure, which are usually required two days in advance. Patients should also arrive at the clinic early for pre-procedure preparation.
During the Procedure
The doctor will continuously monitor your condition through a computer system and directly perform the treatment using precise computer-controlled technology.

Post-Treatment Phase
After the procedure, you will rest for about 2 hours under medical observation. Most patients can resume normal activities shortly after.
